A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Hilliard Etta, says the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, is not a member of the social gathering and can’t dabble into the affairs of the social gathering.
Etta made this assertion on Tuesday when he appeared as a visitor in an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme on Come up Tv monitored by DAILY POST.
He was reacting to the deadlock between Wike and the Nationwide Secretary of the APC, Ajibola Basiru, a number of days in the past.
DAILY POST recollects that Wike had issued a stern warning to Basiru towards interfering in Rivers State politics following his public feedback in help of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Reacting, Etta mentioned that the APC Nationwide Secretary was proper in defending the integrity of the APC and Fubara.
“I like the truth that Wike will get his job achieved. I like his kind of politics. As governor of Rivers State, he received his job achieved. As FCT Minister, he nonetheless will get his job achieved. He’s a person I’ve a variety of respect for.
“However whether or not I’ve that kind of notion of him or not, he stays not a member of our social gathering and so can’t dabble into the affairs of our social gathering. So the Nationwide Secretary was proper in all materials explicit in defending the integrity of the social gathering.
