Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has cleared the air concerning the sealing of the Renewed Hope Agenda office located at Ojike Road, Umuahia, the state capital.
The governor, in an announcement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ukoha Ukoha, acknowledged that the motion was not politically motivated, opposite to misinterpretation by members of the opposition.
Otti mentioned the sealing was carried out by the state’s Harmonised Job Drive as a part of a blanket enforcement of courtroom orders.
He mentioned he had, nevertheless, ordered that the property be unsealed after the matter was delivered to his discover by the Deputy Speaker, Home of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu.
In response to him, the motion has no political undertones, warning in opposition to imputing motives to the actions of the harmonised taskforce.
“The unsealing was promptly executed pending the regularisation of the constructing’s documentation.
