Nine kidnapped victims have reportedly been rescued by troops of the 22 Armoured Brigade, Nigerian Military, based mostly in Sobi, Kwara State, and deployed on the Ahead Working Base (FOB) Patigi, in Patigi Native Authorities Space of the state.

The victims have been kidnapped from Matokun community in Patigi Native Authorities Space.

In keeping with dependable safety sources, the rescued victims have been handed over to the Patigi Native Authorities Council Chairman, represented by the Speaker, Mohammed Usman Alhaji.

The council has since conveyed the victims to an undisclosed hospital for medical consideration and restoration.

The 22 Armoured Brigade reaffirmed its dedication to making sure the security of lives and property in Kwara State.

The brigade additional assured residents that efforts to rescue all remaining kidnapped victims would proceed till peace and stability are totally restored to the state, referred to as the State of Concord.
