The Presidency on Wednesday slammed the previous Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, and his supporters, the Obidients, amid the current inflation report.
DAILY POST earlier reported that Nigeria’s headline inflation dropped to 18.02 per cent in September 2025, down from 20.12 per cent in August.
Knowledge from the Nationwide Bureau of Statistics point out that headline inflation has dropped for the sixth consecutive time this year.
Reacting, President Bola Tinubu’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga, in a submit on his official Fb web page, mentioned regardless of the “vital crash”, Obi would proceed his criticism of the nation’s financial system.
He wrote, “Inflation recorded its most vital crash in September, falling from 20.12% to 18.02%.
“That is the sixth consecutive month that inflation has been declining. Peter Obi and his Obidient mob won’t ever acknowledge this constructive growth within the financial system. By no means!”
