President Bola Tinubu has directed Vice President Kashim Shettima to go to Kebbi State on Wednesday to sympathise with the state authorities.
In a press release by his Particular Adviser on Data and Technique, Bayo Onanuga, the president assured dad and mom and guardians of the kidnapped schoolgirls that the federal government would guarantee their swift launch.
He recommended Governor Mohammed Nasir Idris for the efforts made to avert the kidnapping and lamented the safety breach that led to the regrettable abduction of ladies from the boarding college in Maga, Kebbi State.
“I urge you in areas going through safety challenges, to share info and intelligence that can assist the army, the police and the DSS to make the communities protected,” he stated.
Tinubu expressed unhappiness over the abduction of the schoolgirls, regardless of intelligence warnings of a potential strike by the bandits.
