A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, within the South-South, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has slammed the Lagos chapter of the celebration for declaring a former Rivers State governor, Chibuike Amaechi, a stranded politician.
Eze reminded the Lagos APC that the celebration wouldn’t have been in existence with out the efforts of the previous Minister of Transportation and plenty of others.
In an announcement on Wednesday, the APC in Lagos State had described Amaechi as a rejected Rivers politician, insisting the previous governor lacks the wherewithal to guide a revolt in opposition to President Bola Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.
The celebration made the assertion by means of its spokesperson, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, in response to the previous Minister’s name for Nigerians to mobilize massively to unseat the Tinubu administration within the subsequent common election.
Eze, in an announcement directed to the APC Lagos, described the comment as ridiculous and untutored, including that it’s borne out of sheer sycophancy.
Eze mentioned that the previous governor has not been rejected by his individuals beneath any credible election, insisting that it’s President Tinubu and the APC who suffered rejection in Lagos in 2023 and are at present struggling rejection by Nigerians.
He believes that the subsequent presidential election could be President Tinubu in opposition to the individuals of Nigeria, and never any opposition platform.
“The nation is way worse than the Abacha years, even with the monumental oil wealth now we have reaped beneath Tinubu’s watch as head of the federal authorities,” Eze, who can be one of many main figures that introduced the APC to life previous to the 2015 common election, mentioned.

The APC chieftain suggested the previous Transportation Minister to stay targeted in his drive to boost consciousness among the many populace.
