Justice Funsho Lawal of the Kwara State Excessive Courtroom in Ilorin on Monday sentenced three persons to death for armed theft and kidnapping offenses.
The convicts are Patrick Afedia Adams, Tijani Usman, and Ahmed Muhammad.
The offences have been dedicated towards Mr. Olubunmi Komolafe and his spouse, Mrs. Adeola Morenikeji, at their farm in Ilorin metropolis.
Delivering judgment on the matter, Justice Funsho Lawal stated that the convicts have been sentenced on a four-count cost bordering on conspiracy, rape, armed theft, and kidnapping.
He said that on fifteenth June 2025, at Kanjile Village through Kulende space, Ilorin, the convicts robbed the complainants, kidnapped the spouse right into a secluded place, and demanded a N5 million ransom.
The choose narrated how the convicts tied up the complainants, whereas considered one of them, Tijani Usman, raped Mrs. Adeola Morenikeji mercilessly.
