The Transmission Firm of Nigeria, TCN, has confirmed that elements of Borno and Yobe have been thrown into darkness after vandals destroyed its Tower T347 alongside the Gombe–Damaturu 330 kV transmission line.
The spokesperson of TCN, Ndidi Mbah, disclosed this in an announcement on Saturday, noting that the incident occurred on Friday at 5:46 pm.
The Federal Authorities company condemned the vandalisation in sturdy phrases.
