Veteran journalist and former presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu, has alleged that some groups throughout the African Democratic Congress, ADC, have introduced aggression into the celebration.
In an announcement on Tuesday, Momodu puzzled why some groups are insisting that the ADC presidential ticket should be given to a selected aspirant.
In accordance with him, the principle conveners of the coalition that adopted ADC, “promised to make it an open celebration for all, and one that can uphold democratic tenets. No group or particular person will likely be allowed to trigger chaos, prefer it occurred in PDP, and ADC will implement self-discipline”.
Momodu lamented that in current occasions, “some groups have introduced aggression and rambunctiousness into a fledgling cooperation, and collaboration, of all.
“How can a coalition work if some groups insist they need to produce the highest ticket by donation, and coronation, with out election or persuasion? Why unleash tantrums and expletives on each other as if one group can win Nationwide elections with out the others?
“For this reason, and when, ADC should stand up and implement self-discipline earlier than it’s too late. This was how Nyesom Wike held PDP by the jugular until it turned too late to be dislodged or expelled.
“ADC ought to be a celebration of affection and never a Fuji home of commotion”.
