S.K PALAMA HOST UDU APC ELDERS AND LEADERS TO DRUM SUPPORT FOR TINUBU AND OBOREVWORI 2027 ELECTION.

To Mark Udu APC End Of Year Meeting On Sunday, December 21st 2025, Sir S.K Palama convened a general meeting with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Udu Local Government Area (LGA) with the elders and leaders of the party at the Wetland Hotel in Mofor Ekete-Inland, Udu Delta State.

The gathering brought together prominent political figures, party elders, and stakeholders to foster unity and chart a path forward for the party amid preparations for upcoming elections.

The meeting which was moderated by Hon. Mike Ibada SSA to the Delta State Governor, the meeting which commenced with an opening prayer led by Bishop Fred Arutere and a welcome address from the Udu LGA APC Chairman, Hon. David Rheriobore, who set a collaborative tone for the discussions.

The host and recognized leader of the APC in Udu LGA, Sir Sheba Kris Palama, extended apologies for his absence from the previous meeting and urged attendees to prioritize unity.

“We must work together as elders, leaders, and members to move the party forward in Udu,” Palama emphasized, highlighting the need for cohesion to strengthen the APC’s position in the region.

This overall resolution emphasizes unity, internal cohesion, and strategic alignment as non- negotiable pillars for consolidating the party’s strength ahead of the future political contests.

Several other stakeholders echoed these sentiments, including Hon. Jite Brown, who spoke passionately about the importance of a united front to address local challenges and advance the party’s agenda.

A highlight of the meeting was a motion moved by Chief C.C.I. Williki, proposing the adoption of President Bola Tinubu as the sole APC candidate for the 2027 presidential election, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as the sole candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial race, and Mr. Sheba Kris Palama as the official leader of the APC in Udu LGA.

The motion was seconded by Valentine Onojeghuo Esq., the APC State Publicity Secretary.

Moderator Hon. Mike Ibada then put the motion to a voice vote, with the assembly overwhelmingly affirming “yes,” securing its passage.

The event drew a robust attendance, including all Udu Councilors, 10 ward chairmen, ward women leaders, and 20 leaders from each ward, marking broad representation and grassroots support within the party.

The meeting concluded on an optimistic note, with Mr. Sheba Kris Palama distributing Christmas packages to all participants as a gesture of appreciation and holiday goodwill.

This act not only reinforced the spirit of camaraderie but also signaled the party’s commitment to maintaining strong ties with its base during the festive season.

This gathering comes at a pivotal time for the APC in Delta State, as political alignments intensify ahead of the 2027 elections.

The endorsements reflect a strategic effort to consolidate support for national and state leadership, potentially influencing broader party dynamics in the region.
