In line with eyewitness accounts, the incident reportedly concerned a VIP convoy that confronted a truck driver for allegedly failing to yield the fitting of means.

The state of affairs escalated, resulting in claims of assault and the driving force’s subsequent arrest by safety operatives.

In response, fellow truck drivers staged a blockade, shutting down each inbound and outbound lanes close to Mararaba in Nasarawa State, successfully slicing off a significant entry and exit path to Abuja.
