Well-known Senegalese-American musician, Akon has been arrested in Georgia.
He was arrested final Friday after Chamblee Police obtained a wanted particular person alert for a white Tesla Cybertruck registered to him.
The 52-year-old musician arrest warrant was issued after he refused to look in courtroom over a ticket associated to driving with a suspended license.
The singer was taken to the DeKalb County jail and later booked into one other facility after he was handed over to Roswell police. Akon was launched on bail later that day.
Roswell’s police report disclosed that the arrest warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred on September 10 when officers discovered Akon’s disabled Cybertruck on a busy avenue.
A license examine confirmed that the singer had no legitimate auto insurance coverage and likewise caught driving with a suspended license.
