Plateau State Commissioner of Police, CP Emmanuel Olugbemiga Adesina, on Wednesday, fulfilled an earlier promise he had made to families of police officers who died in lively service by doling out welfare cheques price over N66 million to their widows and dependants.

Adesina, who made the symbolic presentation Plateau State Police Command Headquarters in Jos, mentioned it was in keeping with the willpower of the Drive to respect the efforts and devoted providers of its fallen heroes who gave their lives to the nation.
