The lawmaker representing West Virginia’s 2nd District in Congress, Riley Moore, has described the persecution of Christians in Nigeria as “a genocide”.
Moore acknowledged this in a tweet on Saturday, the place he shared his interview with Fox Information on the latest killings and abductions in Nigeria.
In keeping with him, it’s as much as the Nigerian authorities to work with the US to halt terrorism, in any other case President Donald Trump would step in.
Moore wrote: “The persecution of Christians in Nigeria is escalating out of management. I consider it’s now a genocide.
“It’s as much as the Nigerian authorities to work with the US to cease the killings and kidnappings of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
“This human tragedy has to finish, or else, @POTUS has made it clear that he’ll take motion to cease this tragedy.”
