A member of the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP, Board of Trustees, BoT, Ejiofor Onyia, says the social gathering’s convention must hold to elect new leaders and restore its former glory.
Onyia made this assertion on Wednesday whereas responding to questions in an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme on Come up Tv monitored by DAILY POST.
DAILY POST stories that the PDP has in current time been ravaged by numerous inside political wranglings.
The social gathering is break up into two factions- one loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike and chaired by Abdulrahman Mohammed, whereas the second is chaired by Umar Damagum.
“The convention will hold. Keep in mind after we have been having the difficulty of Secretaryship and there have been courtroom circumstances from all corners till the Supreme Courtroom dominated that the courts have been overstepping their bounds that they don’t have any enterprise within the inside affairs of the social gathering.

“We are going to elect the subsequent set of executives who will take over management and restore the PDP to its former glory,” he stated.
