The Ogun state authorities has introduced a target of producing ₦500 billion in Internally generated revenue to finance its 2026 fiscal plan.
Governor Dapo Abiodun made the declaration on Tuesday throughout the Treasury Board assembly on the 2026–2028 Medium-Time period Expenditure Framework and the 2026 Budget on the Obas Complicated, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Abiodun mentioned Ogun, being Nigeria’s industrial hub, would benefit from its closeness to Lagos and its giant landmass of over 16,000 sq. kilometres to fulfill the aim.
