Prof Utomi made this assertion on Thursday whereas responding to questions in an interview on ‘Politics As we speak’, a programme on Channels Tv monitored by DAILY POST.

He was talking on operating for public workplace in Nigeria.

“I’m insisting that I’ll converse to the Nigerian people who no one over the age of 70 should run for an govt place, whether or not it be governor or president.

“Sure, a couple of individuals can keep within the legislature until they’re 75 probably even near 80. However the Nigerian individuals should not proceed to tolerate the presidency being the place you retain individuals who want medical consideration.

“Doing so is on the nice expense to the Nigerian taxpayer, who shouldn’t be getting the standard of providers they should get from these public workplace holders,” he stated.
