The lawmaker representing Delta North Senatorial District, Ned Nwoko, had mentioned that the detained chief of the Indigenous Individuals of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, is being held unjustly.
Nwoke made this assertion in an interview on Sunday Politics, a programme on Channels Tv monitored by DAILY POST.
Recall that the professional-Biafra chief has been in detention since 2021 after he was repatriated from Kenya.
He has been showing severally in court docket over alleged treason and not too long ago, he sacked all his authorized workforce, saying he would defend himself in court docket.
Reacting, the Delta State lawmaker mentioned, ”Nnamdi Kanu had been in custody for a while now. I imagine Nnamdi Kanu has been held unjustly. His incarceration is the primary cause for the disaster within the Southeast.”
