The naira recorded its fifth straight appreciation against america dollar on the official overseas change market, ending the week on a optimistic note.
Knowledge from the Central Financial institution of Nigeria confirmed that the naira strengthened on Friday to N1,457.96 against the dollar, up from N1,460.49 traded on Thursday.
Which means that the naira gained N2.53 against the dollar on a day-to-day foundation.

On the black market, the naira remained flat at N1,500 per dollar from Monday to Friday this week.
