In a press release signed by Muhammed Idris, the Minister of Data and Nationwide Orientation, the Tinubu administration condemned what it described as a callous and barbaric assault on innocent residents.

The victims have been mentioned to have been gathered in peace for worship when the assault occurred.

The federal government described the incident as against the law that should not go unpunished.

The assertion added that businesses of the federal authorities are already on the path of the criminals.

Moreover, the federal government assured Nigerians that justice for this crime might be swift and decisive.

Idris acknowledged that the President extends his deepest condolences to the households of the deceased.

“Those that shed harmless blood will discover no hiding place in Nigeria,” the assertion added.
