Workers below the platform of Federal Workers Forum, FWF, have described the latest arrest of Taiwo Hassan, also referred to as Soweto, as unjust and unconstitutional.
The group made this declaration whereas reacting to the arrest of the human rights activist in Lagos.
DAILY POST reviews that some residents of Lagos State on Wednesday protested against the demolition of constructions in Makoko and different areas within the state.
It was learnt that Hassan was arrested by the police through the protest. Our correspondent gathered that he has not been launched as on the time of submitting this report on Thursday.
Nationwide Coordinator of FWF, Comrade Andrew Emelieze, and Common Secretary, Comrade Ogundele Ayo, condemned the arrest in a press release made accessible to DAILY POST on Thursday.
