Prof. Mamman Saba Jibril, Secretary to the Kwara State Authorities, has condemned the present pattern of civil servants which are due for retirement lobbying for service extension.
He lamented that the angle has typically grievously impacted the dignity and respect of the employees and likewise stalled provider development.
Prof Jibril made the comment on the ship forth organised for the just lately retired employees of the Governor’s Workplace, warning employees to desist from such an act to retain the honour of the service.
He noticed that employees who engaged in such behaviour lose their respect and satisfaction amongst different civil servants and the general public.
The Deputy Chief of Employees to the state Governor, Mrs Olubukola Babalola, in her speech, congratulated the retirees for their profitable profession within the service and admonished them to make good use of the vast data and assets acquired whereas in service to dwell a productive life.
Additionally talking, the state Performing Head of Service, Dr Olufunke Mercy Shittu, applauded the retirees for their dedication and forthrightness whereas in service and pledged that the federal government would proceed to leverage on their experiences.
The Everlasting Secretary (Normal Service), Abdulganiyu Shuaib Yitta, aligned with the SSG and implored civil servants to at all times toe the trail of honour and be contented with their future.
“We must always attempt to abide by the principles and be part of arms to take care of the glory of the service,” he pleaded.
In her remark, the State Solicitor Normal, Hajia kikelomo Sabitiyu Grillo, counseled the SSG workplace for sustaining the custom of honouring its retirees despite the financial crunch stressing that it was necessary to have a good time officers who served diligently in service.
The retirees embrace Dr Idowu Anu ( government Director ECA) ; Adisa Tunde Mohammed ( Director Particular Service); Mrs Dada Florence ( Employees Officer); Mrs Maria Akinola( Retailer Officer); Mrs Esther Adefila, Alhaja Gambari Memunat Issa and Mrs Mopelola Animashaun, Cadre Officers.
