The State Commissioner for Strong Minerals Improvement, Chief Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh, disclosed this on the third quarterly inter-ministerial press briefing in Ilorin on Tuesday.
She stated a sensitisation marketing campaign geared toward educating and empowering conventional rulers to correctly profile buyers in mining inside their domains might be launched as a part of efforts to test the doable influx of bandits, consistent with present legal guidelines.
Abosede added that the sensitisation marketing campaign can even be prolonged to stakeholders to spotlight the hazards of unlawful and artisanal mining throughout the state.
