The Federal Road Security Corps (FRSC) confirmed the incident in an official assertion issued on Wednesday in Lokoja. In accordance with the corps, the crash occurred on Tuesday at about 11:40 am on the Gidan Bassa group.
The accident concerned two automobiles: a Toyota Avensis belonging to Omala Native Authorities Space of the state and a Sino truck owned by Dangote Cement Plc.
The FRSC said that the automobiles, with registration numbers Kogi BJK172LG and BBR719SA respectively, collided head-on, ensuing in the moment demise of 5 occupants.
