Properties price thousands and thousands of naira have been destroyed following separate hearth incidents that ravaged a church and a petroleum station in Oyo State.
DAILY POST gathered that the church was gutted by hearth on Thursday, whereas the petroleum station was razed on Wednesday.
Our correspondent reviews that the church is situated in Ilora.
It was learnt that the fireplace on the church was brought on by {an electrical} fault from home equipment that ignited the blaze.
Some properties had been broken in the incident, whereas no life was misplaced.
The Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, Hon. Maroof Akinwande, confirmed the incident.
He stated, “Upon arrival, the church was absolutely alight and smoke-logged. The fireplace crew rapidly swung into motion, and the fireplace was prevented from spreading to close by buildings and properties. No casualty was recorded.”
DAILY POST additionally gathered that the petroleum station is situated alongside the Ogbomoso/Ilorin previous highway.

He stated, “Upon arrival, we met a shattered workshop, cracked partitions, broken POP ceiling, and destroyed roofing sheets.
