Properties value hundreds of thousands of naira have been destroyed following a fireplace incident on the Ogbomoso Local Government Secretariat in Oyo State on Thursday.

Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, Hon. Maroof Akinwande, confirmed the incident in an announcement made obtainable to DAILY POST on Thursday night time.
He mentioned, “Upon arrival, we met the incinerator machine on hearth, properly alighted and we swiftly swung into motion, the hearth was curtailed and restricted from spreading to different close by buildings and properties.
“No casualty was recorded. The reason for the hearth incident was but to ascertain and put up hearth incident investigation is ongoing to determine the foundation reason behind the incident.”
