The Minister of Data and Nationwide Orientation, Mohammed Idris, in an announcement on Wednesday, stated the Federal Authorities commiserated with the federal government and folks of Niger State.

Idris described the incident as heartbreaking and a reminder of the devastating penalties of gasoline tanker accidents in Nigerian communities.

“The Federal Authorities expresses its deep sorrow over the tragic petrol tanker explosion that occurred in Essa, Katcha Native Authorities Space of Niger State, just a few days in the past, which claimed many harmless lives and left a number of others injured.

“We be a part of the federal government and folks of Niger State in mourning this painful loss. This heartbreaking incident has as soon as once more delivered to the fore the devastating human and materials penalties of gasoline tanker accidents in our communities.
