Salihu Yakasai, the Kano State governorship candidate of the Individuals’s Redemption Celebration (PRP) in the 2023 election, has mentioned the North-East obtained zero undertaking approvals, whereas the South-East obtained the least from Thursday’s Federal Government Council (FEC) assembly.
He disclosed this in a press release on X on Friday.
Based on his evaluation, the South-West, the geopolitical zone of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, obtained a whopping N789 billion in undertaking approvals, representing 75 per cent of the N1 trillion whole undertaking approvals.
He added that the South-South obtained N156 billion, the North-Central acquired N43 billion, and the North-West acquired N30 billion in undertaking approvals on the newest FEC assembly.
“One other South-West FEC assembly was held yesterday. Out of the entire quantity of N1 trillion permitted:
South-West: N789 billion (75%)
South-South: N156 billion (14%)
North-Central: N43 billion (4%)
North-West: N30 billion (2%)
South-East: N28 billion (2%)
North-East: N0 billion (0%),” he wrote on X.

This comes amid rising considerations over the Tinubu administration’s alleged focus of projects in his area.
