Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has formally resigned from the New Nigeria Folks’s Celebration (NNPP), citing protracted inside crises and authorized disputes that he stated have weakened the social gathering’s cohesion nationwide.

In response to the assertion, Yusuf communicated his resolution in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the NNPP in Diso–Chiranchi Ward, Gwale Native Authorities Space, with impact from January 25, 2026.
