The Federal Authorities has ordered the quick shutdown of 47 Federal Unity Colleges throughout the nation as a consequence of rising security threats.

The directive was conveyed in a round issued on Friday, warning of “heightened security dangers in a number of areas” and emphasising the necessity to safeguard college students and workers.
In line with the doc, the choice obtained the approval of the Minister of Schooling, Tunji Alausa.
The round was signed on his behalf by Binta Abdulkadir, Director of Senior Secondary Schooling.
Principals of the affected establishments have been instructed to implement the closure directly.
