No less than seven countries have been eliminated to date from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Morocco.

They’re Uganda, Botswana, Zambia, Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Zimbabwe.
Uganda is the newest group to exit the tournament following their 3-1 defeat to Nigeria on Tuesday. The Cranes completed with one level in Group C, behind Nigeria, Tunisia and Tanzania.
In the meantime, seven countries have already certified for the Spherical of 16. They’re Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria, Mali, Morocco, South Africa and Egypt.
