The Abuja Electrical energy Distribution Firm has introduced an outage in elements of the Federal Capital Territory.

The outage affected Kuje, Galadinmawa, Video games Village, Kaduna Backyard, and elements of Wuye, Utako, Apo, Garki, Asokoro, Keffi, and Akwanga.
The disco mentioned the outage is because of upkeep train by the Transmission Firm of Nigeria on Thursday.
“Elements of Gwagwalada, Kuje, Galadimawa, Video games Village, Kabusa Backyard, Railway, Idu Industrial, and elements of Wuye, Utako, Apo, Garki, Asokoro, Karu, Keffi, and Akwanga. Please learn that the Transmission Firm of Nigeria (TCN) might be finishing up a upkeep train on the 150 MVA 330/132/33 kV transformer TR1 on the Gwagwalada Transmission Station, on the eighth January 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
“This upkeep train is a part of our continued efforts to reinforce service reliability and enhance power provide to your neighborhood,” AEDC acknowledged.
