Anthony Joshua returns to UK after car crash in Nigeria 


Famend international boxer, Anthony Joshua, has returned to the UK after being concerned in an auto crash in Nigeria that claimed the lives of his shut associates.

Recall that the car conveying him final Monday rammed into a stationary truck alongside the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The previous world heavyweight champion’s private coach, Kevin Latif Ayodele, and his power and conditioning coach, Sina Ghami, died in the accident.

The Nigeria-born British boxer survived the crash after sustaining minor accidents and was taken to a hospital in Lagos.

He was, however, discharged from a Nigerian hospital on New 12 months’s Eve.

In the meantime, the funerals for Ghami and Ayodele are scheduled to be held at a London mosque on Sunday.

The police confirmed that Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, the motive force of the car concerned in the crash, has been charged with inflicting loss of life by harmful driving and working a car and not using a legitimate licence.
