Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State, on Friday, disclosed one of many explanation why he contested for governor in 2022.
Soludo disclosed that the Okpoko space of Anambra State was a part of the major reason he contested for governorship.
He disclosed this through the Ogbaru Constituency Marketing campaign rally in Okpoko space of the state.
In accordance with Soludo: “Okpoko is among the major explanation why I contested to be governor of Anambra. From 2010 till 2022, I couldn’t sleep effectively seeing the way in which Okpoko was.
“Seeing the way in which Okpoko was, the most important city slum within the Southeast, if not Nigeria with over half 1,000,000 folks.
“No water, no street, no road lights, nothing. I advised you once I was campaigning that assist was on the way in which.
“I promised Ndi-Anambra that both the day of my swearing in or the day after I’ll resume work at Okpoko.
“I used to be sworn in on the seventeenth and on the 18th I got here right here and we got here to this venue and in the present day over 20 kilometers of streets, roads have been performed, road lights performed, pipe borne water performed, hospital for the primary time now in Okpoko.
“Youngsters are having fun with free schooling, that’s why we got here. I like you extra. I’ll come and take one room right here.”
