No fewer than 50 members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, from Kibiya Ward in Kibiya Native Authorities Space of Kano State have defected to the New Nigeria Peoples Celebration, NNPP.
This was disclosed in a press release by the Director of Public Enlightenment, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Catastrophe Administration and Social Improvement, Balarabe Kiru, on Wednesday in Kano.
The commissioner of the ministry, Adamu Kibiya, welcomed the defectors into NNPP, citing Governor Abba Yusuf’s dedication to good governance and growth initiatives.
In accordance with him, the governor has applied initiatives in well being, schooling, infrastructure, empowerment, and agriculture, benefiting residents of Kano.
“The NNPP will help you. Stay steadfast in making certain the administration’s success,” he informed the brand new members.
Talking on behalf of the defectors, Yakubu Alhaji mentioned they joined NNPP in recognition of the celebration’s dedication to growth and good governance underneath Governor Abba Yusuf’s administration.
The councillor for Kibiya Ward, Auwalu Sarki, disclosed that extra teams had been set to affix NNPP, praising the commissioner’s efforts in selling the celebration and Governor Yusuf’s insurance policies in Kibiya Native Authorities Space.
Sarki added that the commissioner’s work had been instrumental in attracting supporters to the celebration.
