Chairman of the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, Prof Joash Amupitan, says the 2023 IREV glitch has been eradicated.
Prof Amupitan expressed this confidence on Sunday throughout Residents City Corridor Assembly on Electoral Act 2026 held in Abuja, the nation’s capital metropolis.
In line with him, such a glitch is not going to surface in Nigeria again.
“The glitch in INEC IREV in 2013 has been eradicated, by God’s grace, it is not going to surface in Nigeria again,” he stated.
Recall that the Senate accredited the digital transmission of election outcomes, with manual collation retained as a backup.
