No fewer than 11 individuals had been reportedly killed, whereas 12 others sustained various levels of accidents in a road site visitors accident that occurred on Thursday alongside the Ringim–Sankara–Beguwa Road in Jigawa State.
The Ringim Unit Commander of the Federal Road Security Corps, FRSC, Ado Adamu, confirmed the incident in an announcement issued to DAILY POST.
He mentioned the accident occurred at about 4:45 pm and concerned a pink Volkswagen Golf with registration quantity ND 983 XA, which was conveying about 23 passengers.
In response to him, preliminary investigations revealed that the crash was attributable to overloading and extreme dashing, which led to a tyre burst and lack of management.
“The accident resulted in the demise of 11 individuals, whereas 12 others sustained accidents,” Adamu mentioned.
